"Guru Dorje Drolo 2"
I have painted a thangka of the same Guru Dorje Drolo before. Link⇒
In fact, I was painting two of the same thangkas at the same time and the second one has just completed.

These two thangkas are very similar but yet I made some differences between these two thangkas.

Example the face.
The face of the first one is like this...

and the second one is,,,

The major difference are the fire-like eyebrow and mustache.

And the bone ornament.  For the first one, it only shows around his neck as the ornament was under his garments.

On the other hand, we can see the most part of the ornament as it's over his garments.

The tigress and the offering are mostly same like the first one.

Some of the part where the real gold is painted will be left as it is, so it stay mat. The other part will be polished the whole to have lustrous effect.
Also some detailed design can be created using the polishing method like the sun disk on the lotus seat.

The backside of the thangka.
